Isobel loves her doggie. She follows Riley all the time. She prefers to sit on him but we are teaching her that she can sit next to him but not on him. But she has gotten very good about petting him nicely. Its so sweet.

Isobel's added some new words to her vocabulary: fish, frog, outside, and ba = ball. She is constantly trying to copy what we say. We went to take Riley pee pee and of course that's what Isobel decides to say, pee pee. It was hysterical.

Mommy and Daddy had a night out with some friends. After a delicious dinner we all played some Wii. Here's me with Elena and Tracy and Tim is bowling (although I am the undefeated champ of bowling).

Not Sunday, Hat Day

Today was a busy day. We met Zoe and Natasha and Fredric at the Aquarium today and the girls
 had a good
time. Isobel really needed her nap but she managed to see lots of fish, turtles
 and rays.

Tonight, Grandma came over to play. As you can see, Isobel managed to pull out most things from her drawers including
her hats. And she thought it would be fun for all of us to wear one. She is so adorable.
Yesterday we had Isobel's new car seat installed at the fire station. She LOVES her new seat.
She gets to see out the windows and she can see Mommy and Daddy while we drive.
She thinks it's awesome - and so do we.
Isobel has also been working on her ABCs.  She's getting very good actually. I will have to get some video of her showing off.

New Hair Accessories

Happy Thursday! Well after not feeling well for the past week I think Isobel is starting to feel a bit better. I'm listening to her breathe through the monitor right now as she peacefully sleeps (what a wonderful sound).  She felt so good tonight at dinner that she decided to try some new hair accessories. At one point she had a piece of banana, peach, watermelon and was working on a green bean but by the time I got the camera they were gone. But she had so much fun she decided to try again and that's what I've captured here.

Christmas 2008

Please forgive me. I know this is overdue. We had a wonderful Christmas. On Christmas Eve we made cookies for Santa. Isobel sneaked part of a snowflake cookie. She's got quick hands.

We had a full house with Grandpa Bob (he made from Mexico to spend Christmas Eve with us which was the best gift he could ever give), Grandma, Nana, Grandpa Jim, Aunt Tracy, Uncle Wayne, Aunt Pam and Uncle John. Isobel got loads of presents. Aunt Tracy read Twas the Night Before Christmas to everyone before the kids went to bed. Logan kissed Isobel. But the best part was being able to spend so much time together as a family.

On
Christmas morning Santa left evidence that he was here. He left snowy footprints from the fireplace (fyi - North Pole snow is special and doesn't melt, even in the Florida heat, it just turns into a powder) and he left Isobel a thank you note for the cookies. Maddy had to check out those footprints and see what they were all about.
Also on Christmas Day Grandpa Bob ran into Santa at the airport (he was on his flight back to Mexico - meeting Mrs. Claus for a much needed vacation) and he called and wished Isobel a Merry Christmas. It was very special.

Later in the day we went to Nana and Grandpa Jim's house where Santa had left even more presents for Isobel. Although by this picture of Tim you would think Santa came just for him. We had a great time and a wonderful dinner.

On Friday we took our Christmas money and went to the zoo. And then on Saturday Grandma took Isobel to the park. You can see she's not too sure about getting her hands dirty. It was a perfect holiday!!!
